The Customer Support team is a vital part of the overall company organization. The Customer Support team has played a key role in the successful deployment of the company equipment to provide next generation voice services in 300 carriers’ networks. Our customers have consistently reported the exceptional quality of the company’s customer support as one of our key differentiators.

The Customer Support team works closely with our customer base to assist them with design, implementation and troubleshooting of deployments involving a wide range of company and partner products. Our Customer Support Engineers are high calibre engineers who act as a customer’s primary technical contact and technical representative within the company, taking responsibility for ensuring that all of their needs are met. In North America alone, we have more than 30 Customer Support Engineers, working in small regional teams.

Here are some of the qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years in the professional IT field, Network Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in CIS or related field
CCIE preferably Security, R&S or IP Telephony
Strong verbal and written communication
Team player with strong work ethic and excellent documentation skills.
Strong ability to see big picture and able to implement strategies that align tasks/people/requirements for success in meeting the department goals
Develops and maintains positive working relationships with clients
Demonstrated ability to provide project level support throughout the entire project lifestyle, planning, action plan development, implementation and troubleshooting
Ensures the appropriate documentation and adherence to departmental processes and procedures
Effectively communicates the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to internal business and project stakeholders.
Expert level Cisco command line knowledge
Previous ISP or IT Consulting Business company experience.
Knowledge of Cisco VOIP
Superior troubleshooting skills of R&S networks.

The IP Network Engineer in the Professional Services team will work directly with our customers to review their IP networks for suitability for Voice over IP and suggest changes where necessary. The IP Network Engineer will preferably be based in our offices in the San Francisco Bay area, CA, but for the right candidate we will also consider applicants who would prefer to work from home anywhere in the US or from our offices in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities After an initial training period, the successful candidate will become a full part of our Professional Services team. They will then be responsible for discussing with our customers their IP and VoIP requirements converting this into a network design or a review of an existing network to verify its suitability
